Today the Solomons Volunteers welcomed the Calvert Parks and Recreation who conducted Junior Firefighter Training at the station. Students were split into two groups where we conducted some Fire Prevention awareness and also had an obstacle course for them to complete. The program was very fast paced with only being an hour long. Both the Volunteers and children seemed so have had a great time and learned a great deal. We always welcome the community to stop by and learn more about our department and fire safety.
