At approximately 2039 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alerted to an MVA at the base of the bridge reported as serious. Quickly crews manned Ambulance 38, Ambulance 39, Squad 3 and Engine 31 to respond to the scene.
Upon arrival crews found two vehicles involved blocking the roadway. Quickly patients were evaluated by EMS crews and transported to nearby medical facilities. Squad 3 and Engine 31 secured the vehicles and assisted with cleanup of the scene. All units cleared the scene approximately 1 hour later.
