On Thursday, February 6th, PC/PP and Current 2VP of SMVFA Pardoe and President Anderson met up with Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD), Past Fire Chief, and current Board of Director Bobby Johnson. His family was displaced by a fire at their home in December of 2024. The fire not only displaced the family during the holiday season but also caused injuries to his young granddaughter. Sadly, she lost everything in her room.

At the January Business Meeting, the members voted to donate to the family to help them in their time of need. We genuinely hope this small donation helps heal the wounds caused by the fire.
