We asked James Lachney to share some of her favorite aspects of being a member of SVRSFD and a volunteer, and this is what she said.
“My favorite part of being a member of Solomons is the way I was accepted by the people at Solomons that made me feel like part of the family. After retirement from the Navy I found a place where we had structure and it was all about family.I became a driver within weeks of being at the station for Tiki Bar opening and I was hooked. I started EMT class soon after and went on to being an officer soon after
We are fortunate to have James as part of our SVRSFD family and are grateful to him every day! |
