Ashleigh Cornett

Ashleigh has been a member of the SVRSFD for almost 10 years! Ashleigh is being recognized as the regular member of the month for July! Ashleigh is currently one of our ambulance drivers and has recently gotten her Maryland EMT and is working on completing her National EMT certification! Ashleigh runs duty frequently and is always doing everything she can to help our community in their time of need! Ashleigh has a huge heart, and we are so lucky to have such a caring and giving member like her!

We asked Ashleigh about her favorite parts of volunteering and being a member of the SVRSFD, and this is what she said!

“ I love being able to help others on their worst days and doing everything I can for them. My favorite part of being with Solomons is being raised in the department and watching the family there grow. I loved being raised at the fire department and watching my dad save others when I was little. I love the fact that now I can do it too, and being able to call Solomons my second home, and that’s my family.”

We are so proud to have Ashleigh as a part of our SVRSFD family, and we cannot wait to see all she accomplishes in her future here!
