By Captain Richard Lacey
November 26, 2025

At 1600 hours on November 25th, units from Company 3 were dispatched for the Multiple Vehicle MVC at the base of the TJ Bridge. Squad 3 (Capt. Lacey), Engine 31 ( LT. Dickson), Ambulance 203, and Paramedic Ambulance 203 responded and found a five-vehicle MVC with a total of 3 Pts. All Pts were evaluated while the Squad and Engine crews worked to secure power to the two severely damaged vehicles and to clean up fluids that had leaked onto the roadway. 1 Pt was transported to Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, 1 Pt was transported to Calvert Health, and the last Pt declined transport. Shortly after clearing the Accident scene, Co.3 units were dispatched on Mutual aid to St Mary’s on the Brush Fire Taskforce for a structure fire with extension into the woods in Hollywood. Engine 31, Engine Tanker 3, and UTV 3 responded and were placed in service once the crews on scene had gotten a knock on the fire.
