Nick Fanelli

Nick has been a volunteer in Calvert County for 8 years and has been a member of the SVRSFD for the past 3 years. Nick is being recognized as the Admin Officer of the month for September! Nick is currently our station’s Quarter Master and oversees our gear supply and distributes gear to new members. Nick can be found at the station in the gear shed organizing and cleaning, running calls on the fire and EMS side, and participating in drills. Nick is passionate about helping our community in any way he can as a volunteer of the SVRSFD!

We asked Nick what his favorite parts of volunteering and being a member of the SVRSFD are, and this is what he said!

“ I enjoy volunteering because I like being able to help my community in their time of need. I like being involved in community outreach events while educating the public on fire prevention and what we do as first responders. I enjoy the camaraderie we have as a department, and I’ve made a lot of great friends throughout the years, which I consider my second family.”

We are fortunate to have Nick as part of our SVRSFD family, and we hope to have him with us for many years to come!
